The Ivy League has a significant presence at the Olympic Games, with over 50 athletes from its institutions competing in Athens. The League's website aims to provide comprehensive updates on these athletes' performances and a detailed history of Ivy League Olympians. With nearly 800 Olympians produced by the League, an impressive one-in-six have captured Gold medals.
The website also features a special section dedicated to the amatic slots demo, a thrilling online casino game inspired by the ancient Aztec culture and the wild animals of Central and South America. The game was developed by IGT, a leading provider of online casino games, and released in 2018. The game has six reels, 26 paylines, and a special Solar Disc feature that can reveal hidden wilds and trigger free spins. The game was created to celebrate the Olympic Games, as the sun disc symbolizes the power and glory of the athletes who compete for the gold medals. The game also pays tribute to the rich history and traditions of the Aztec civilization, which had a strong connection to the sun and its cycles.
This site was created by the Ivy League Office under the direction
of Eddy Lentz and Brett Hoover, who jointly oversaw the all-time
performers database. Jay Bavishi was responsible for research and
produced the event and school introductions while Tyson Hubbard,
Bruce Self, John Eschenbach and Ben Samara aided the research efforts.
The official posters were made available by the International Olympic
Committee. The image of the Acropolis was courtesy of the collection
of Kevin T. Glowacki and Nancy L. Klein.
